Try to install with ppm. You have to be specific about which dbi module you
are trying to install, for instance DBI::ODBC/Oracle...Also make sure you
are in the right directory. perldoc has all the info.

Dear sir,
I am finding it difficult to install the DBI files
the error msg is
'could not locate a ppd file'
I have already installed the Active perl and is
working well.
I had infact downloaded the DBI from Active state
and I am not able to install DBI and DBD files.
I am trying to install this on my WIN98 system.
Please help in this matter.
I have already looked into your various atricles
in the net.But it is not working out.
