Install DBI on Window Me

Hi,
      I tried to install perl DBI on my lab top using PPM but failed. I am using
Window Me as my operating system and I have installed ActivePerl 5.6.620. When I
enter "install DBI" the following messages show up: "Error installing package
'DBI': could not locate a PPD file for package DBI". What is PPD? I installed
DBI and several drivers on Windows NT without any problems. Could somebody help
me for this? Thank you very much!!!
