Do you have an internet connection when you are doing this? Seems like you
either don't or you are behind a firewall.

I tried to install perl DBI on my lab top using PPM but failed. I

Window Me as my operating system and I have installed ActivePerl

enter "install DBI" the following messages show up: "Error installing

'DBI': could not locate a PPD file for package DBI". What is PPD? I
installed
DBI and several drivers on Windows NT without any problems. Could
somebody help
