When I compiled DBD-ODBC I got this message at the start of perl Makefile.PL:

Umm, this looks like a unixodbc type of driver manager.

So, ODBC-0.28 does identify it as a unixodbc manager. However, it is
indeed true that I first tried this with iodbc, so it is still installed
on this system...
