Hello, I am trying to install DBD::Oracle on a Redhat Linux 7.1 box for the sole purpose of connecting to a remote Oracle server. On our Windows boxes we need to install sqlnet (which we have for Windows) but I can't seem to find an equivalent for Linux. I have been directed several times to the Oracle site to download Oracle client software for Linux but everything I've found has some sort of requirement to install Oracle Enterprise before installing anything else. Is there a simple solution to this or do I in fact need to install Oracle Enterprise in order to use DBD::Oracle to connect to a remote server?? Thanks, Phil
