Installing DBI

Hello,

I'm trying to install the DBI module.  I'm currently using perl 5.6.1 for
cygwin-multi on a Win32 machine.  I get an error when running make that
reads

make: *** [DBI.o] Error 1

What does this mean and how do I fix it?
