I'd suggest have something at the front that lists the steps just to give a
feel for what's involved but not enough info to do it.

And perhaps any 'background information/research/comments etc' (if any)
could be moved to an appendix.

I'm sending this from my cabin on the Perl Whirl Geek Cruise (www.geekcruises.com),
via a wireless link on my laptop to the ships satellite internet connection, as we sail
into the Caribbean sunset. It's been a great conference so far and I can tell you that
Larry and Damian are working hard on polishing up the next Perl6 Apocalypse and
it's loaded with very interesting stuff! I can highly recommend Geek Cruising!
This is my second and I'll certainly be back for more.
