D'oh! I thought I had grabbed the latest version - obviously not! What
happened was I searched kobesearch.cpan.org for DBD::File, which only
returned Jochen's CPAN directory. Basically there was no indication that
Jochen was no longer maintaining it, or that there were two versions.
Upgrading to 0.2002 solved it. Thank you both for your time.
