After several months away from the DBI list I have returned but as usual with new members it is with a question. I'm not sure if I've coded it incorrectly or ran into a glitch in the DBD for PostgreSQL.
I query the database and return a value of type INET and place it in a variable using the DBI bind method. The variable is actually part of a hash. When I try to use the same variable to a placeholder I keep getting errors. The code is not available right now so I can't run it and capture the exact message but I wanted to ask if anyone was aware of problems using INET types and placeholders? I do remember something of a discussion on the PostgreSQL General list about INETs and DBI but didn't follow it to completion. I'll do more searching later today but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction now. TIA, Rod -- "Open Source Software - Sometimes you get more than you paid for..."
