Hello Marc, MD> But it seems to have one big flaw, postfix.
MD> Spam prevention is only done after a message has been received, while MD> sendmail milters can reject a message during negotation with the sender. This is a very strange statement, because my Postfix installation only does pre-acceptance filtering. We're looking at installing post-acceptance filters, but everything right now is done either during the negotiation phase, or through REGEXP filtering during the DATA phase. Both Postfix and Sendmail can filter "everywhere" during the transaction, with the proper configuration and tools. -- Jeff Brenton Vice President, Engineered Software Products, Inc http://espi.com Questionable web page: http://dididahdahdidit.com "Language was invented to ask questions. Answers may be given by grunts and gestures, but questions must be spoken. Humanness came of age when man asked the first question. Social stagnation results not from a lack of answers but from the absence of the impulse to ask questions." - Eric Hoffer
