I've been using milters a lott, mostly snertsoft filters from the days
they where still free available. milter-sender i.e. has options I
haven't found in any other mailfilter. Although the postfix sender
verification does a good job too.

Yes, postfix has better scalability. However, sendmail solves this with
sendmailX a complete rewrite.

That's odd, one would think a old package has had the maximum amount of
debugging and vulnerabilities patched. New code, new bugs.

Me neither, except for the availability of good milters.
