Hi, Yes really. You also misunderstand, I was talking about using the SSH client rather than server - it doesn't have the same behaviour as telnet or nc.

HTTPS was the worse one that didn't give a reply right back. But you can still see whether you're connected or not. The iptables rules can be found on fedora in /etc/sysconfig/iptables and modified there if you know the iptables syntax.
