Hey,
Not sure if this is really relevant. We have dbmail 2.2.8 on a mail
cluster receiving approximately 2 million connections every 24hours
(according to stats). That's including rejections/insertions. Around
5000 customer mailboxes (we're a datacenter/virtual hosting company).
We're using postfix > dbmail-lmtpd > MySQL 5x.
Our cluster is currently spread across 5 machines, though, only one is
the db backend which is a dell 2950 (2x quad xeon 4gb RAM though 32bit).
We implement baisc filtering, i.e. header_checks and greylisting.
I'm not sure how the above fairs up against other
users/implementations of dbmail.
Kind Regards

What sort of disk setup are you using?
