Micheal,

Just read the text of: http://dbpedia.org/sparql  (where the timeout 
finput field is).

You could have just clicked "Run Query" and seen "&timeout" at the end. 
You could have also done a backspace and hit "enter" to see it is a 
clean extension. Instead, you decided to offer a lecture of SPARQL 
compliance etc.
