Hi Philipp, Their seems to be an issue with the wrong compile plan being generated for the query on the server resulting in the time out, which is currently being looked into. In the meantime the query does run successfully against the dbpedia-live server (http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/sparql), so if possible you could redirect the gfacet service to that endpoint for the time being ?
We shall report back when this issue has been resolved on the dbpedia.org/sparql endpoint ...
