Hi Philipp, The performance of dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/sparql is probably better than dbpedia.org/sparql as it runs on more powerful hardware. It is however still a staging server for dbpedia-live effort we are working on with the DBpedia team which is still in progress and thus subject to change and down time without notice. Although it is generally online pretty much all the time and we make every effort to keep it online, it cannot be guaranteed in the short term until the live extraction process has been finalised and signed off.
