I've given all of the info that I can give. I know it's correct, but I
understand your position. Do what you must. I actually have more to 10/5/70
than what is listed. Someday I'll organize it and will get it out.

Charlie, not trying to be difficult and while I’m sure we’d all like to have
songs dated correctly, this particular story proves that even the best sources
of information, from folks actually handling vault reels, can be wrong.

I think the best thing that can be said is that it is likely the song is from
10/5 but not conclusively.

I was told that the multitracks from 10/4 and 10/5 were mized on 12/23 which is
why there's confusion. I have my songs dated properly.

If there were a way to isolate it to one of the dates, yes, that would work.
However that inserts too much assumption..

Process of elimination. It's not 10/4 and not 12/23.

There is no posted evidence that it belongs to 10/5. Please provide

The reels I have from 12/23/70 have a different me and my uncle than the one
that circulates. the one tht circs is from 10/5/70.

That looks like the gist of it.
Charlie Miller has announced that he has the master of 12/23/70 and
will presumably be issuing it; so we'll soon see whether the
Hard to Handle, Candyman, and MAMU are from 12/23 or not...
