You can only install the base.tgz file from cdrom, floppy, mounted or
network (http).
Now it probably isn't uncommon to have a debian mirror available via
nfs (at least install stuff) when one has more than one system.
If I'm right, slink had that option, so where did it go?

PS: The network module was loaded and configured via dhcp (sucessfully as ifconfig
shows)
