The solution is simply to add the required characters in debian-installer/build/needed-characters/ka.utf: https://d-i.debian.org/doc/i18n-guide/ch03s06.html I'm surprised that this was missed. Was https://d-i.debian.org/doc/i18n-guide/ch03.html not followed? Samuel
