Hi Martin, Using the 2.4 Kernel indeed worked. It just would've been nice to have gone straight to a 2.6 kernel. It is also interesting that the other sites that I looked at regarding the drivers said that the tg3 driver didn't work until at least the 2.6.something.test kernel, I guess it must've been backported.
