Comments/Problems:

The DHCP configuration didn't work: it was giving an error in tty1 while the log
in tty4 was showing with DHCPDISCOVER/DHCPOFFER/DHCPREQUEST/DHCPACK and then the
last line with 'bound to 192.168....'. Even ifconfig was showing the correct
state.

I had to remove the config (ifconfig eth0 down) and then use the manual configuration.

After partitioning the hard drives I wasn't able to create a file system
on them since the list of partitions was like this:

---------------------------
d

47,8 MiB n/a
Finish
Cancel
---------------------------

(I created one partition for / (1Gb) and one for swap (50Mb))

I then went to partman and selected the partition for format. Partman was able
to format them but then I couldn't mount it for installing the base system.

I then tried to use LVM: I partitioned the hard disks, marked partition for LVM,
create VG and all LV, then partman showed the LV as disks instead of partitions and
prompted me to create a partition table on it.

The new d-i (sid_d-i 20040616) solved all these problems.
