Package: libsane
Version: 1.0.19~cvs20070505-1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/lib/sane/libsane-hp.so.1.0.19

Accessing the DJ F4100 is very sporadic. At times it works:

$ scanimage -L
device `hpaio:/usb/Deskjet_F4100_series?serial=CN75J2V0S804TJ' is
a Hewlett-Packard Deskjet_F4100_series all-in-one

Then it does not (strace attached):

$ scanimage -L
scanimage: hp-option.c:3713: hp_optset_fix_geometry_options:
Assertion `tl_x && tl_y && br_x && br_y' failed.
Aborted.

Also, scanimage --help either produces the same error/abort. If
I then run it again, it just hangs indefinitely until I restart the
printer.

I realise that 1.0.19~cvs20070505-1 is a bit old, but I didn't see
anything in the changelog about HP and the line number of the
assertion is still the same, so I assume it still applies in sid.
