Firefox freezes when I go to http://hietanen.typepad.com/copyfraud/ in
its current form. I have had no problems with this site before when
using Firefox 1.0.4. Today I started having the problem with 1.0.4 and
also with 1.0.5-1.
The problem only occurs if I open the page in the current tab but not
if I open it in a new tab with the middle mouse button. I made a local
copy of the page (attached). The problem also occurs if I open the
local file. I tried linting the local file and opening that but it
doesn't help.
The program freezes with the message "Waiting for
hietanen.typepad.com..." on the status line. Strace shows it is stuck
in some kind of loop:

left;" /></a>We are "Vores ÃL Group", a group of students at the
IT-University in Copenhagen and have created Our Beer in collaboration with
Superflex as an experiment in applying modern open source ideas and methods on
a traditional real-world product (beer).</p>
<p><em>Recipe for approx. 85 ltr. Vores Ãl (Our Beer) (approx. 6% alchohol by
volume).</em></p>
<h3>Malt extract</h3>
<p>For Vores Ãl we use four types malted barley:</p>
<p> </p>
<ul><li>6 kg pilsner malt</li>
<li>4 kg münsner malt</li>
<li>1 kg caramel malt</li>
<li>1 kg lager malt</li></ul>
<p>The malt is crushed and put in 55-60°C hot water for 1-2 hours.</p>
<p>The mixture is filtered and the liquid now contains about 10 kg malt
extract.</p>
<h3>Taste and sugar</h3>
<p>Besides malt we use:</p>
<ul><li>60 g Tetnang bitter hops</li>
<li>50 g Hallertaver aroma hops</li>
<li>300 g Guarana beans</li>
<li>4 kg sugar</li></ul>
<p>(Guarana beans can typically be bought at health food stores).</p>
<p>The malt extact is brought to a boil in a large pot with the hops and
approx. 70 ltr. of water.</p>
<p>After half an hour, the Guarana beans and sugar is added.</p>
<p>The mixture simmers for about an hour, and is then filtered and cooled in a
sealed container.</p>
<h3>Fermentation</h3>
<p>Yeast is added and the beer is fermented at room temperature for approx. 2
weeks.</p>
<p>When the beer is fully fermentet it is transferred to bottles. First
4 g sugar is added per liter and some yeast from the bottom of the
fermentation tanks for priming.</p>
<p>Vores Ãl is then left in the bottles at room temperature for 8-10
days for carbonation. Then the beer is ready to enjoy; cold and

<p>A online joke site is down. It was accused
of distributing antisemitist jokes. Apparently the aim of the site was to
collect all the jokes possible to the site. The site had several categories and
one of them was jokes about jews. He is commenting the takedown on his <a

<p>New Google Map hacks keep pouring in. This is a revenue generating free
wireless hotspot service. The service uses affiliate programmes. Free hotspots
just plug in to the services DNS server that keeps track of the users
behaviour. If users buy something from lets say Amazon, the provider of the hot
spot and the service provider get revenue! They are claiming that the average
revenue is 4800/yr. Nice business idea for the free hot spots. </p>
