Package: sysv-rc
Version: 2.88dsf-13.1
Severity: important
Hi,
We have a commercial product which is installing the startup links on
2,3,4 and 5 runlevels with S98. Because of this the service is not
started automatically at boot on Debian 6.0 systems.
The high sequence number (98) appears to be the cause, the last link
in /etc/rc2.d is "S04stop-bootlogd".
Removing the S98 and K98 links in all runlevels and updating them with
'update-rc-d SERVICE defaults" makes it start at boot (S01, K01).
I believe this is a bug in /etc/init.d/rc -- it should execute all
scripts per runlevel. If other package is responsible please reassing.
Thanks
