Although it is correct that adding the two files does not negatively impact stability in this particular case, it is not an argument that is true in general. So a picky release manager would still need to look at the source code to verify that the fix has no negative consequences. And since we are already in wheezy freeze, I think time is better spent for making the next release happen - by me and any other project member - rather than trying to fix a severity: normal bug in stable. > Thanks for your work on Debian!
