Could you please check if the dependency against gnome-icon-theme is still needed? GTK3 now uses the adwaita icon theme instead of the gnome-icon-theme by default. libgtk3 already pulls adwaita-icon-theme when installed, so I think an explicit dependency against gnome-icon-theme or adwaita-icon-theme is not needed.
