Hmmm. I though it did already support pdiff caching and I just forgot to
close that report.
So, why do you think this patch would improve anything? It adds tifani's
*.gz files to the list of "autorefreshed" index files. Why? AFAIK their
paths/filenames are unique, so there is no point in doing that.
