Do we actually get a lot of crash reports with stack traces? In the ones that I've seen the limited information that -g1 produces was enough to identify where the problem was, I don't remember any instance where having all the information would make such a big difference, and considering the size of the debugging packages I was more afraid that this would turn people away... That said, for amd64 at least it probably makes sense. Berto
