Apropos "decided" you should have received a testing removal warning
first.  I'd like to repeat:  That's an automatic process triggered by
open RC bugs.

For your comfort I did so and
   https://salsa.debian.org/games-team/stormlib
now contains this history.

I have not found a repository for smpq at that location.
If you can provide one I can help you with some repository
as well (including a fix for the open RC bug).
