Hi, i will have to ponder whether it is a good idea to have completely different Volume Ids for ISO 9660 / ECMA-119 and Joliet. (This would also create the wish for a separate ISO 9660:1999 Id.)
In general, xorriso imposes no hard rules on the Volume Id texts, because especially Linux distros by tradition use non-compliant texts like "Debian 13.1.0 amd64 n". For now i changed the bug severity to "wishlist". Have a nice day :) Thomas
