As as alternative, you might want to try to unmount the nfs shares via a
script in /etc/network/if-down.d/.

NetworkManagerDispatcher calls the script
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/01ifupdown, which in turn runs the
ifupdown scripts in /etc/network/if*.d/
