If gimp has not enough memory, it create temporary swapspace in the
${HOME}/.gimp-2.0 which is A KILLER if you have mounted /home over NFS.
I am using ${TMPDIR} which is dynamicaly created ont the local drive
like:
---[ command 'ls -dl /tmp/michelle*/' ]---------------------------------
drwx------ 4 michelle.konzack private 4096 2007-11-22 14:53
/tmp/michelle.konzack.j25927/
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please can you forward this wish to upstream, to make it posible to use
the environement variable TMPDIR?
