This is ugly, but only aestethically speaking.

as Steve said: the device is busy, it's already part of a RAID.

It's questionable to me whether mdadm should start RAID devices on
install/upgrade.

You setup looks weird. mdadm.conf contains /dev/md0 and you are
already using /dev/md/d0p6 (partitionable arrays).
