Hi Wolfi,

let me have a question:

Are you using KDE oder GNOME or both on your machine? 
I am running KDE with minimal gnome-bin. As I saw, inkscape is heavily 
depending on gtk, maybe this is the trick?

Therefore I am trying to (re)build inkscape on my machine from source too.
