That propably happened to me when I remove the handling for the ancient irssi-text package. Though, I have to admit, the AUTHORITATIVE LIST OF VIRTUAL PACKAGE NAMES doesn't contain any irc virtual package - even though I see it in talksoup.app, scrollz, sirc, ircii, xchat and epic4. Were there ever discussions about wether to make this an official virtual package, what good is it, I don't see any Depends on irc anywhere?
