"Модулите за идентификация" seems like a very strange translation for "PAM",
losing some of the meaning of the original.  Why is this not at least
"Модулите за оторизация"?

Hmm, I think it's a leap to go from "locally modified" to "modified by the
administrator".  I'm not asserting that the administrator had anything to do
with it, because I don't know - it could be the fault of a rogue package, or
even an attacker. :)

The last sentence is difficult for me to read, but I do notice that you say
"PAM" here instead of "system authentication configuration."  I guess that's
ok, though it's not an exact translation.
