Yes. The problem is that "pluggable" is hard to translate shortly.
A complete translation would look like "Authentication modules that
you can switch on or off as you wish". Luckily, "module" already
implies something independent that adds functionality to the whole, so
by omitting it, the meaning is still there.

"оторизация" is "authorization" (to give permission). This *is*
something PAM does, but as it comes after the authentication phase and
the PAM acronym says "authentication", "идентификация" is better.
Finally, the "PAM" and the expanded "Pluggable..." are present in the
translated text to set it straight what it is talking about.

Because the meaning used is not the primary one. The primary meaning
is something like "contour", "outline"; then comes "side view". The
same word also means "a set of settings that are changed together",
but that's very techspeak. The quotes suggest that the meaningg sought
is not the primary meaning of the word, but something else. Once done,
the rest of the text omits the quotes.

Hm, aren't these conffiles? Anyway, the original indeed does not
suggest who did change them. Updated translation attached.

My point here is that changing pam.d/something changes PAM behaviour.
Whether the system authentication configuration uses PAM at all is
