Package: pbbuttonsd
Version: 0.6.10-2
Since the upgrade to pbbuttonsd_0.6.10-2, my tibook II
series ignores trackpad notap command, that is,
tapping on the trackpad always generates a mouse
click.
Reverting to an older version of pbbuttonsd fixes the
problem.
Example:
# dpkg -i
/var/cache/apt/archives/pbbuttonsd_0.6.6-3_powerpc.deb
dpkg - warning: downgrading pbbuttonsd from 0.6.10-2
to 0.6.6-3.
(...)
# trackpad notap
[taps ignored, all is ok]
# dpkg -i
/var/cache/apt/archives/pbbuttonsd_0.6.10-2_powerpc.deb
(...)
# trackpad notap
# trackpad show
READREG(3, 2) trackpad settings notap nodrag nolock
[taps NOT ignored, unwanted mouse clicks everywhere,
minimized solitaire windows at risk of being exposed,
you get the idea :) ]
Other functions like lcd brightness, volume and eject,
work as usual. Bug experienced under 2.6.11 and .12,
untested on other configurations.
