Package: libsndfile1
Version: 1.0.16-2+etch1
Severity: important

After the upgrade from 1.0.16-2 to 1.0.16-2+etch1 I can't hear any sound
when playing an mp4 with mplayer anymore.
Downgrading to 1.0.16-2 fixes the problem.

I use a PCI sound-card (M Audio Audiophile 24/96) instead of the onboard
audio chip.
The settings for mplayer in the Envy24 Control Utility: Patchbay/Router
are H/W Out 1 (L): PCM Out 1 and H/W Out 2 (R): PCM Out 2

With tvtime the sound still works (for 1.0.16-2 and 1.0.16-2+etch1).
The settings for tvtime in the Envy24 Control Utility: Patchbay/Router
are H/W Out 1 (L): H/W In 1 and H/W Out 2 (R): H/W In 2
