Sorry, this simply doesn't make much sense. When playng MP4s in mplayer, libsndfile has no part in it. libsndfile is simply a library for reading and writing sound files to disk. Furthermore, MP4 is not one of the file formats that libsndfile supports so when mplayer plays MP4 files it does it without any help from libsndfile. When libsndfile is upgraded, is there anything else upgraded at the same time?
