I do not understand the problem. You can specify that a given script should run after or before any other script, by specifying this in the LSB header. Documentation is in the insserv manual page and <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts>. As far as I know, dependency based boot sequencing provides everything needed, and thus I reassign this back. Please provide more information if you still need more input from us insserv maintainers.
