# Actually, grave for me, see below
severity 644078 important
thanks

I continued using psql, and now I cannot enter non ASCII characters,
at least those I use in German.

If I enter "ä" the word under the curser is capitalized, if it is a
SQL special term, e.g. null -> Null, or else left untouched and the cursor
jumps to the next ",".

If I enter "ö", "ü" the same happens.

If I enter "ß" the word under the cursor is doubled, both within a
string literal and on special SQL terms.

The "§" seems to move backwards by word (or some definition thereof),
though I use this very seldomly.

So far there has been no trouble at all entering Umlauts (äöü) and ß,
this regression is major and for me would mark this grave, though
people using only ASCII are unaffected.
