The pixmaps path is harcoded in gnome libraies, this imply we need to
recompile all gnome2 applications who use stock gnome pixmaps or store
pixmaps in /usr/share/pixmaps

For .mo files no. Those files are i18n files and are only read in
/usr/share/locale by libc

Sawfish is a window manager, then he manage yours windows...
The problem is configuration options. Sawfish 2 doesn't use all sawfish
1 options then if you reinstall sawfish 1 after sawfish 2 you lose some
configuration.
