Package: general Severity: grave When I close the lid on my iBook (clamshell, c.2000), pmud creates a screen with text on it, e.g. black screen with white text, but does not turn the screen off. It is definitely noticeable if the machine is sitting in a dark room. The green power light does go into pulsating mode.
apmd has been purged though it does have a remnant file in /etc/power, e.g. apm|.
