Ok. I now also get this error with my Debian archive, after I tried uploading the current opera-package: dists/experimental/main/binary-i386/: 1 files 2038kB 0s dists/experimental/main/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/experimental/contrib/binary-i386/: 0 files 0B 0s dists/experimental/contrib/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/experimental/non-free/binary-i386/: 0 files 0B 0s dists/experimental/non-free/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/: New 36.4kB 17 files 23.7MB 0s dists/unstable/main/binary-all/: New 3983B 3 files 2274kB 0s dists/unstable/contrib/binary-i386/: New 3150B 2 files 3468kB 0s dists/unstable/contrib/binary-all/: New 9952B 7 files 10.7MB 0s dists/unstable/non-free/binary-i386/:E: Sub-process gzip returned an error code (100) E: Errors apply to file '/var/lib/debarchiver/dists/unstable/non-free/binary-i386/web/opera_8.51-20051114.6_i386.deb' 11 files 56.0MB 0s dists/unstable/non-free/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/stable/main/binary-i386/: 1 files 1550kB 0s dists/stable/main/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/stable/contrib/binary-i386/: 0 files 0B 0s dists/stable/contrib/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/stable/non-free/binary-i386/: 1 files 43.7MB 0s dists/stable/non-free/binary-all/: New 34B 0 files 0B 0s dists/experimental/main/source/: 1 pkgs in 0s dists/experimental/contrib/source/: 0 pkgs in 0s dists/experimental/non-free/source/: 0 pkgs in 0s dists/unstable/main/source/: 11 pkgs in 0s dists/unstable/contrib/source/: 5 pkgs in 0s dists/unstable/non-free/source/: 1 pkgs in 0s dists/stable/main/source/: 1 pkgs in 0s dists/stable/contrib/source/: 0 pkgs in 0s dists/stable/non-free/source/: 0 pkgs in 0s Done Packages, Starting contents. dists/unstable/Contents-i386: New 353kB 29 files 78.9MB 0s dists/experimental/Contents-all: New 20B 0 files 0B 0s dists/unstable/Contents-all: New 50.0kB 10 files 13.0MB 0s dists/stable/Contents-all: New 20B 0 files 0B 0s Done. 143MB in 43 archives. Took 0s I have no idea, what is causing this problem. There is no useful output at all. Running the related apt-ftparchive command via "su debarchiver -c ..." or as root works. Running the debarchiver script via cron results in the mentioned error. As far as I know, gzip complains about non-existent gzip. Any ideas, where the bug could be? System is an up-to-date Debian Sid. Regards, Daniel -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
