Title: Solaris / Web Administration Positions: 1 Rate: DOE, let's chat Duration: 6+ months Location: San Francisco, CA Solaris / Web Administration Solaris 10, Red Hat/Linux, iPlanet, Sun Server Nice to have: BIG IP F5, 5-7 years technical background and 3-5 years directly related web engineering experience. Must have worked constantly with Solaris 10 and Red Hat within the last 1-2 years. Description: Implements the resolution of complex technical problems involving creation of Web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the bank's existing computer systems. Provides senior-level technical support to Web Developers. Installs new hardware and software. Upgrades and maintains the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web. Develops and implements Web systems support applications infrastructure for e-commerce, Web-based customer support and Web interfaces to databases. Monitors and gathers performance statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system! May provide guidance to less experienced staff. Monitors and gathers performance statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets. 24 x 7 production support for iPlanet webservers, WebLogic application servers and ATG Dynamo application servers running on multiple SUN models with Solaris 10 Operating System! Oracle databases running on SUN E3500's, and BIG IP F5 load balancer support. 24 x 7 response to alarms in HP OVO, and alarms coming from Topaz customer simulation tests, as well as in-house developed monitoring systems.
