But it doesn't create a meta packages, which is (IMHO) one of the key features of mk-build-deps. The information is then exposed quite clearly by several tools as you'll see that meta-package as local/obsolete… very handy when cleaning up the system. pbuilder-satisfydepends has the same feature, but it always uses "pbuilder-satisfydepends-dummy" as a name for the meta-package. So, it's not possible to track build-depends of two different source packages… which is possible using mk-build-deps. I didn't see this feature implemented in other mentioned tools.
