You can move all of the build artifacts to ../build-area with:

    git config --add dgit.default.build-products-dir ../build-area

I don't think there is an equivalent of tarball-dir, sadly. I also find
this annoying. I have just been living with the orig.tar.gz in the parent
directory causing some clutter (but not nearly as much as the build
products).

I would love it if there was an option that told origtargz to put it
somehwere else and told dgit to find it somewhere else. Maybe there is and
I just don't know about it?
