I tend to do the same, but setting "Debian PACKAGE Maintainer(s) <[email protected]>". But I don't see that as a statement of weak ownership.
So we need some distinction, making sure that it is the text part of the Maintainer field and not the fact that the Maintainer mail address points to [email protected] that declares weak ownership.
Credits for the name: paride coined the name at MiniDebConf Hamburg 2026, claiming that paultag came up with it, I was using "be my guest" before.
I actually like "Be my guest", "Help appreciated" or "take at will" more.
