Great idea! I uploaded cppi, git2cl, git-merge-changelog changing its maintainer, and will consider using this more.
I think we should consider using a fixed e-mail address for all these packages rather than a per-package maintainer value. And "/debian/" is a great namespace to enable all DD's to easily be able to write to packages with 'Debian Commons' as maintainer. Please don't increase Salsa group proliferation. /Simon
